The space exudes a cozy atmosphere, perfect for both casual breakfasts and more leisurely lunches, appealing to visitors seeking a genuine taste of Maine’s culinary heritage.

The standout dishes at Eighteen95 speak to a mastery of simplicity and quality. The Eggs Benedict is frequently praised for its delicate balance of flavors and perfectly poached eggs, making it a must-try for any breakfast guest. Equally compelling is the Avocado Toast, which delights with fresh, vibrant ingredients and is a favorite among those looking for a lighter yet satisfying option. Beyond traditional breakfast fare, the menu excels with soulful options like the Faroe Island Salmon served alongside cranberry-orange chutney and wild rice, as well as robust entrees like the Seared Duck Breast, elevated with duck confit and a nuanced cointreau demiglace.

Appetizers and salads maintain the restaurant’s commitment to local sourcing and inventive flavor combinations. The roasted beet and fennel salad with whipped goat cheese offers a refreshing start, while the Baked Oysters—topped with crab and butter cracker crumble—bring a luxurious coastal touch. The thoughtful inclusion of regional staples, such as clam chowder and lobster stew, anchor the experience firmly in Maine’s culinary tradition.

Service quality at Eighteen95 tends to be a highlight as well. Guests often note the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, with servers providing personalized recommendations that enhance the meal. Some reviews mention wait times that can stretch longer during peak hours, reflecting a kitchen that prioritizes craftsmanship over speed. The space is intimate, at times evoking a bed-and-breakfast vibe, which suits diners who appreciate a relaxed, unhurried meal rather than a bustling, impersonal setting.

While prices are on the higher side, the freshness and quality of the ingredients justify the investment, especially for travelers and locals who value a thoughtfully prepared, flavorful meal in an authentic Maine setting. Eighteen95 Restaurant caters to those who seek a refined yet welcoming environment, ideal for food enthusiasts eager to explore elevated New England flavors through a concise and well-curated menu.

The service was absolutely fantastic, we had the same server both days we were at the hotel. Since it was off-season the hotel was much cheaper than normal. The server recommended the pancakes and we were not disappointed, the next day I got the scrambler with a pancake on the side. All of it is delicious. The prices are a little higher but you were getting freshly cooked food including whole potatoes, eggs, pancakes etc.

The food was quite yummy. Very great value if you get the package with your room, we ended up only paying $15 for all this food! Our server was quite friendly and personable. The room is a little small and gives off B&B vibes.

We had a good breakfast here. Small restaurant, and we did not know that we needed to reserve a table, but the hostess was able to accommodate our party of 4. Everything was good, but the food took forever to come out. Service was also scarce. I think there are better places to spend a lot of money on breakfast.

We were not staying at this hotel but chose to have breakfast here one morning and we are glad we did! Small menu but delicious options. Stella and AJ made sure we were in and out in time to make our ferry. Top notch service, would definitely dine here again.

Excellent! Every detail was thought of. We ordered breakfast room service while staying at The Portland Regency (recommend the pancakes) . Also had chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne a different night.
